I know Varly deserves a chance to get back in net but with points being so important right now, I wouldn't be disappointed if Roy just went with Pickard as long as he is playing this way.
The one thing the Avs have lacked this year (besides a healthy roster) is that spark the youngsters brought last season. They were so confident and just seemed to be having fun.
Pickard seems to have ignited that spark again both with the players and the fans. NO team wants millions of dollars and years of term sitting on the bench but if the goal is to win, who cares?
I say keep Pickard (and Briere) on the ice until things start going south again (and for hockey's sake, get RID of HOLDEN!).

I am on the same boat with you here, if Picks is playing well, rid the hot hand. Varly will get his net back eventually, but the more they rest him the better since t his team counts on him so much.

I am ok with Holden on the team but in the press box as the 7th dman right now. Let him earn his ice time again. We are stuck with him for a while so hopefully he can regain some of his stock, or is used as trade bait if he is able to recapture some of his offence that he had last season. Fine as a Bottom pairing fringe guy, but not Top 4

just bc Ek posted it, I would love Boedker on the Avs. If there was a ROR package to get him and Yandle, that would be a hell of a trade.

A healthy Top 9 could be

Boedker - Duchene - Tangs
Landy - Mack - Iggy
McGinn - Mithcell - Everberg/Vincour

With a Top 4 of

Yandle - EJ
Hejda - Barrie
